USMLE SCORE 244

Assalam o Alaikum. I usually do not post on forums or pages but my today's post is especially to motivate those who have kids , living abroad and lot more other responsibilities..
I'm a mother of 3 year old. And Ma Sha Allah he keeps me on my toes all the time..🤣..
So it's possible if you have true determination..
I received my score
It's 244 Alhamdulillah
I'm the one who felt horrible after test. When I came out i felt if I got hit by truck..
But honestly no matter how difficult is your exam ,
Trust Allah
Trust your hardwork
Trust your self assessment scores
My assessment scores
Each nbme was taken after every 2 weeks. Except last 10 days during which I took nbme 18, UWSA 2 and free 120
Nbme 13 (225)
Nbme 15 (225)
Nbme 16 (240)
Nbmes 17 (240)
Nbmes 19 (240)
Nbmes 18 (240)
Uwsa 1 (243) as baseline
Uwsa 2 (249)
Free 120 87%
I went to exam with full confidence.
But as I started exam i felt that it was nothing like anything I have taken before. I was guessing 50% of times.
But to be honest now I feel if you have prepared well you can perform well in exam no matter how difficult it is.
I was heavily tested on
Pharma, micro, immuno, stats, ethics..
Patho was very little..
Resources used
First aid
UW 2 times
Kaplan qbank
Kaplan books for immunology, genetics, biochem, molecular, anatomy...
Physio...BRS
Patho... our favourite pathoma
Biostats UW and kaplan
First 3 chapters of pathoma should be on your. Finger tips..
Plus I used up-to-date where ever I felt myself confused ...
One more thing.there is nothing like low yeild or high yield for exam. Everything is high yeild..

USMLE Step 1 experience - Mohammed Qussay Al-Sabbagh: 263

I’m Mohammed Qussay Al-Sabbagh, a 6th -year medical student at the University of Jordan, and I have recieved my Step 1 results a few days ago, which’s turned out to be 263, Alhamdulillah! Thus, I have decided to note down and share my experience, as I found reading others’ experiences very useful to me… This experience documentation will be divided into three sections; general take home messages, my USMLE step 1 journey, and my studying sources. Big misconceptions “Just because everybody does it, doesn't make it right” In this section, I’ll present some big misconceptions about Step 1 preparation, which drives students to be needlessly worried, rendering them unefficeintly anxious and distressed at all times. Before starting, ALWAYS REMEMEBR that there exists no schedule or technique that fits all kinds of medical students, which calls for the creation of your own personal approaches according to your own capabilities which no one knows for exact except for yourself!
