‎Shikha Jha- Step 2 CK - 249

Hello and Namaste everyone! I received my Step 2 Ck Score Report and I am happy to see that Hard work never betrays!!.Here I shall share a short and sweet experience with all of you.
Target score : -250
Real Deal : - 249!!
Study period : -4.5 months
Daily study :- 10-12 hours
Study materials : - MTB 2 and 3 (1 time), Board Basics (3 times) , UWorld!! UWorld!!UWorld (1st time subject wise, 2nd Time Random and Timed, 6 Blocks per day), Self made UWorld Flashcards ( 2 times), NBME 1-7, UWSA 1 and 2 taken
Self Assessment : - UWSA 1 - 255, UWSA 2 - 254
My Words for you : - Your core aim should be to build up concepts and work on your Clinical Judgement. The Exam is 9 hours long and tedious. Therefore, it is important to work on your ability to solve multiple blocks of questions per day. I believe UWorld is the best source to consolidate your concepts. Kindly revise the charts and tables as much as you can and and make sure you prepare yourself well enough to differentiate one diagnosis from another.Time is a big constraint, therefore don't be too sensitive to a single question, Read carefully, use your knowledge to choose the best one and move on to the next question .And lastly, the Exam as well as it's preparation is challenging but the point is..
IF IT DOESN'T CHALLENGE YOU ,IT WON'T CHANGE YOU AND YOUR LIFE!!
ALL THE BEST!! BELIEVE IN YOURSELF & GO FOR IT!!

I’m Mohammed Qussay Al-Sabbagh, a 6th -year medical student at the University of Jordan, and I have recieved my Step 1 results a few days ago, which’s turned out to be 263, Alhamdulillah! Thus, I have decided to note down and share my experience, as I found reading others’ experiences very useful to me… This experience documentation will be divided into three sections; general take home messages, my USMLE step 1 journey, and my studying sources. Before starting, ALWAYS REMEMEBR that there exists no schedule or technique that fits all kinds of medical students, which calls for the creation of your own personal approaches according to your own capabilities which no one knows for exact except for yourself!
