Important things i noticed through this tenure are:
1- Scores (especially of step 1) matter alot.
2- I would encourage students to start writing articles (reviews or reports) for free online forums/journals e.g Cureus. Literally everything matters!!
3- I have seen alot of hard-working students with CS attempt/s this year. And almost all of them have matched. (For those with CS attempt and are depressed, i can imagine how painful it is)
4- You all are hard working and committed and will achieve whatever you are passionate for. But the most important thing is to Stay humble and HELP OTHERS. "Try to spread what you want to have more". Be thankful to humans. Be thankful to God. Whatever you have, wherever you are, everything's happening for a reason.

Best of luck to all of you struggling. Savor every moment of the journey.
